Our Process:Call us today at 646-567-9850 to schedule a free in-home inspection. This will allow us to determine the scope of your situation. We will then set up a bed bug treatment plan with you. A team of three or four cleaners will be sent, depending on the size of your apartment, the amount of your belongings, and your time frame.
Our cleaning team will arrive at your home as discretely as possible – we do not wear any uniforms or advertise our presence in any way. Here is what a Bed Bug Busters NY team will do for you:
Clothes
- Treat all clothing in a hot dryer, and then fold and store everything in carefully labeled and sealed plastic bags (or arrange for pick-up by dry cleaner).
- Laundry is included in our hourly rate, unlike other bed bug prep companies.
Beds and Bedding
- Strip all bedding from the beds and treat in a hot dryer.
- Treat all linens and towels in a hot dryer, and then fold and store everything in sealed plastic bags (just like we do with your clothes).
- Dismantle a bed frame, ifrequired.
- Provide mattress, box spring and pillow encasements at a discount over store prices.*
Rugs and Curtains
- Vacuum carpeting and baseboards.
- Arrange for area rugs to be sent out to be steam cleaned.*
- Directly clean curtains or take them down for dry cleaning.
Furniture and Possessions
- Use portable heating unit to clean files, shoes, purses and fine fabrics. We can clean fur or leather as well.
- Vacuum upholstered furniture.
- Move furniture away from walls so that baseboards can be cleaned.
- Vacuum books, CDs, and DVDs and seal in plastic bags.
- Remove switch plates and outlet covers for further cleaning, if requested by your pest control company.
Organizing
- Clean out closets, drawers and cabinets.
- Work with you to decide what can be discarded. Remember, a clutter-free environment will help prevent the return of bed bugs to your home.
- Many of our clients view this procedure as an opportunity to clear out their clutter and reorganize their closets and home offices.
